Fletcher hotels customer reviews

Very bad customer service. I bought a voucher with which you can book a stay 28 days before arrival. The voucher stated that a set number of rooms is reserved for the vouchers every day. Booking on a Saturday was unfortunately impossible due to the fact that no rooms were made available. When calling customer service they said that if a hotel is booked full, no spots are made available, making the statement on the voucher a lie. Furthermore, hotels that were still available on a Saturday online didn't show up on the voucher too. The customer service didn't want to help me book a room so I was forced to book on a Thursday.

The quality of customer service and ability to empathise on continuous issues are bizar! Absolutely done with the inhumane Fletcher manner of treating guests. Logically, I will not book no more at one of their properties.

Bad wifi. Arrived at 9:45 am at the reastaurant and almost nothing left (breakfast until 10:30am). This made the hotel be much more expensive

Very nasty company that grossly overcharges for very bad quality. I don't want to deal with them ever again.

Stunning hotel and rooms. very clean and tidy, roof top is amazing to sit with a drink or coffee and relax. downfall is price is tiny bit steep for the location, closest shop is roughly 18 min walk away, but has a Burger King kfc and other food places right across the road. Good security meaning that your room card can only access your own floor, but a bit of a hassle when with friends/ family on different floors, had to then meet at reception or roof top. I would recommend

The hotel was such a let down. The pictures online are deceiving, the room in person looked tired and cheap. The water situation was also horrendous, it was either freezing cold or boiling hot. When I was washing my hands I turned the tap slightly away from the coldest setting and scalded my hand when boiling water came out very unexpectedly. Watch out for this as it also happens in the shower. I was too scared to use the shower for more than a minute or so and could only wash in freezing water. Our room was so so dusty to the point my boyfriend and I could feel ourselves breathing in the dust particles. This caused me to start couching before trying to go to sleep. The beds are of very poor quality and don't even have a proper mattress; it's more of a plastic mat with a mattress topper so the sheets were continuously sliding off. To top off our stay, on our last day we were woken to the door being pounded on at 11:10AM by a member of staff demanding we pay a late fee as we were still in the room past 11am. We were never told at check in that there was a set time to vacate the room, and even so, my boyfriend had been very ill the night before (not helped by the dust) which this staff member was not sympathetic of in the slightest and still demand we pay a fee even though we complained about the state of the room. If you're going to Amsterdam, don't make our mistake. Pay a bit more to stay in a much nicer hotel closer to the city centre.

Myself and my partner stayed here at hotel fletcher for 3 nights whilst having a short trip away to Amsterdam for the first time. The hotel is located a fair distance from the centre of Amsterdam but is on a short bus route to the closest train station which takes you straight there (all tickets cheap and only needs to tap for contactless- does not take money). When arriving to the hotel we was greeted by staff and reminded we had to pay a tourist tax fee which was done there and then. We went to our room which was located on the 9th floor. Upon entering the room it smelt clean and looked tidy, the view had potential being 9 stories high but sadly this hotel is located on a motorway and next to a prison so there was not much nice scenery but was completely silent so the motorway was not an issue. The facilities were basic (tea bags, sugar, 2 shower gel minis, hair dryer and a safe) there was a coffee machine in the room as well which I found a nice touch. Originally at a first glance the room looked fresh but when looking up close it was worn, there was a few stains on the wall, the fabric cloth on the bed frame ripped and marks over the mirror but all in all was clean just obvious wear and tear. The bed was our biggest issue in this hotel. It was 2 single mattresses and frames put together but the mattress was thin and tiny (it didn’t fit the frame) the sleep here was not a comfortable one and at times we was woken to half the mattress hanging over the bed. We didn’t have food here but all looked and smelt nice when walking past but cannot comment. Lastly the smoking lounge was a nice touch located on the 19th floor/balcony (no views from here as it is caged in for safety) small but had a few tables and ask trays (there was a sign to say no drugs to be in this hotel so I’m not sure if cannabis smoke is allowed up there) but normal cigarettes definitely. Overall me and my partner had a lovely time and managed to get to where we wanted from this hotel location. Would recommend if wanted simple but not if you want a more luxury feel.

Beautiful hotel more aimed at couples I think…..showers are actually centred in the rooms not good when you’re there with your 15 year old son. 10ish minute walk to the metro although online it says there were transfers back & forth………only when events are on. 11am check out (bonus) Food menu isn’t a family friendly one although looked beautiful staff were friendly rooms were cleaned every day. Heating & air con safe etc

The hotel itself is very nice to the eye, however don’t let looks deceive you. It lacks so many basic amenities, no fridge no water not even a mug. The rooms are very small and the AC didn’t work, only one elevator worked and it’s 45 mins from Adam
