Visited this hotel for a breakfast meeting. The staff were courteous, however the offerings didn’t reflect what the buffet price was. The restaurant was spacious, clean and loved the natural light.

From the game you can already tell what to expect in terms cleanliness, the ambience at the reception, the out door bar, pergola(very ideal for parties😉) to the pool. Amazing experience. If you've followed me for a while you know I'm the King of birthday parties. Call me for yours 🤩

This hotel was probably a very nice place 30 years ago. But now it is very worn down. We had to switch room as there was no warm water at all in our room. Decent breakfast, nice pool and cozy outside area though.

Had a 4-day conference there. Great service, helpful staff, wonderful conferencing facility and plenty of breakout rooms. Food was good too. Hotel is a bit old and the rooms are a bit dated, but the service was good! If, like me you like your milk tea strong inform the Waiter.

Had a very good experience at Jacaranda Hotel. The staff is welcoming and very much helpful. They assist to organize for special arrangements to ease our stay as we were on a business trip. The back door to access the mall effortlessly is a bonus. Also it’s well situated, access to different mall and restaurants, including a masai market. I’ll definitely come again on my next trip to Kenya. Rotarian, you shall be happy to learn that the Rotary Club of Nairobi Hurlingham meets there every Wednesday. I went to Kenya in March and stayed at this hotel during the Nairobi part of my trip. This is a wonderful gem of a hotel with exceptional customer service. The value far exceeds the cost of the stay. Everyone I encountered during my stay was extremely personable and professional. We didn't want for anything. The breakfast buffet was super and offered a wide variety of selections as well as made to order eggs, omelets, etc. Rooms were comfortable and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. There's nice little open air bar that we enjoyed at the end of each evening. I will return the next time I visit and I will be back. :)

Recently stayed here and my friend who has mobility issues booked it without checking the infrastructure. Unfortunately other than the foyer all access is via stairs…to the room, garden and restaurant.. there are no lifts. I have looked in website myself and there is no mention of this. I think it was a reasonable assumption that I in this day and age accessibility should be able to be assumed. The hotel, although in a great location is old and needs some renovation to bring the rooms and general facilities up to date. The rooms do not have air on and our ceiling fan did not work, so relied on standing fan. Not really an issue but also not what you would expect given the rate. The hotel also advertises a pool which is indeed lovely but unfortunately between 9am and 5 it is utilized by a local school and you cannot access it or the lounge chairs etc. On the positive side, the hotel is in a fantastic location, the breakfast was fab and the staff really did go out of their way to help us…unfortunately they could not change the stairs. I advise people to check on accessibility before using this hotel.

Negative - [ ] Wifi unstable /Slow and was 13h down - [ ] Pool Bar is very very dirty at coffee-machine windows of glasses - [ ] Pool almost not possible to find space due to lots of foreigners coming /should block area for hotel guest . - [ ] Lots of children learning swimming and very loud all day - [ ] Pool not enough sun beds and no umbrellas . Only for sitting area two big umbrellas - [ ] Construction work was on Sunday even very loud - [ ] Air conditioner loud - [ ] TV Program only 4 to select Positive : - [ ] Staff friendly - [ ] Prices of drinks and food fair - [ ] Location /Mall over the street

Standard hotel. Very nice lobby. Overall would benefit from some refurbishment but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Bottled water in the room. Rooms spacious and clean. Bags checked on way into hotel - not quite sure why. Pool and outside area good with plenty of seating and poolside bar.
