Salishan coastal lodge customer reviews

Enjoyed a birthday treat at Salishan. It was my first visit to the lodge. The staff were attentive, greeted me with a smile and generally kind and help from the front desk to the Attic Lounge. The food was awesome attention to presentation and taste was 5 star! My room with a fireplace and balcony was very nice! The comforter needed replacement due to holes throughout. Andrea & Melissa were the best at being kind & helpful I will be back

Overall this was absolutely fantastic. The service was unbelievably good- everyone we talked to seemed to go above and beyond. They were also very kind. Things happened very quickly after requesting (extra blankets, etc.) They were very helpful when it came to working with us in regards to allergies in both the restaurant and cafe. Everyone was great with the kids. The only things I would consider if looking at booking are the stairs everywhere- it does take a while to walk from the further rooms to the main lodge every time you want to swim/eat/etc. Not an issue for us, but I can see how that could be an issue for those with accessibility needs. The water in our room (shower specifically) was exceptionally hot and we couldn't turn it down. But, it worked and everything else was flawless.

What a wonderful venue! We stayed in their largest suite that included a full kitchen and laundry. The grounds, setting and staff were all perfect. We enjoyed the high quality breakfast in the restaurant and some of our party played the excellent golf course. Definitely plan on returning.

My husband, 4 year old daughter and I decided to take a last minute Christmas vacation to the Oregon coast and had a great time during our 6 night stay at Salishan! The grounds of the property were beautifully maintained, as was the golf course (which my husband thoroughly enjoyed - even playing through the rain at times!). The staff was super friendly and quick to respond to housekeeping requests and room service orders. The spa is top notch as well. My daughter enjoyed swimming in the heated indoor pool and though we didn't use it (because it was vacation!), having access to a full gym on site was a nice touch. Yoga classes as well. It was a perfectly relaxing vacation in the most peaceful location. It was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be back!!!

We came down to the Oregon coast from the Seattle area to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The hotel itself was nice, was it worth the price? Not really. The rooms were basic and could use some updating. We were charged a fee for “amenities” which we didn’t use. The only free amenities were the pool and pickleball courts. The spa wasn’t on the property. There was zero direction on how to get to the private beach that was on the map given to us at the front desk. Our “water view” was a peek a boo view at best, but it was more like a greenbelt view. The room has awesome natural lighting however 2 of the 3 windows faced the parking lot so we kept the curtains closed for privacy. The water pressure in the shower was sad, and the temperature barely got above luke warm, I’ve had better showers at the hospital. If you’re a golfer it might be worth it but be aware that golf is not free nor do you get a discount as a guest. It was a decent hotel and we felt safe however we do not feel it was worth the price we paid and likely will not be returning next time we are down in the Oregon coast.
