Silavadee pool spa resort customer reviews

Amazing place we really enjoyed our week long stay there. The private beach and the two infinity pools were amazing. The staff made you feel very special and golf cart you around from facility to facility. The breakfast was amazing too. Would recommend and will go back for sure. Amazing spot.

Despite having high expectations based on the reviews, our experience with the property turned out to be bad. The staff is courteous, and the food quality is good; however, we encountered several issues at the property. These are highlighted below: 1. We reserved a Deluxe Ocean View Room with a Jacuzzi, which is located on the second floor. Regrettably, there is no elevator available. 2. To our shock, they placed a welcome treat (cupcakes) in our room, but unfortunately, it was infested with ants/pests.Upon notifying the hotel staff about the issue, they promptly replaced it with a new set. However, the problem persisted as the entire table area remained infested. 3. The air conditioning was not functioning properly, necessitating a call to the technician. He promptly arrived and cleaned the filter to address the issue. 4. When attempting to use the Jacuzzi, we encountered a malfunction as water was gushing out unexpectedly. We had to call for a technician to address and rectify the issue. As a premium property, I would anticipate thorough room inspections and proactive resolution of these issues before guests arrive. I don't recommend this property.

We stayed in an Ocean View Pool Villa for a week in December 23. The resort is a well-maintained property located away from La Mai (easily accessible by taxi for 200 B or the hotel shuttle). We particularly enjoyed the tranquility by our private pool with a great view. Regarding the villa, ours lacked surrounding vegetation and only had a small sun umbrella, which proved challenging in the heat. The wooden terrace floor could use a makeover. The air conditioning in the living space blew directly onto the bed, making it uncomfortable even at the lowest setting, as the inclination was not adjustable. During strong winds, the villas became quite noisy. The most unpleasant aspect was experiencing two power outages (unavoidable circumstances), and the backup generator for the entire hotel was situated right behind our villa. After the second outage (lasting 7 hours at night), we raised the issue with the manager, who acted very solution-oriented. While offered a change of villa for two nights, we declined. A highlight is the abundant breakfast, partly served at the table, with good quality. However, a major drawback is the breakfast room; when crowded, it becomes noisy (especially during Christmas, with many toddlers), and outdoor breakfast enjoyment is hindered. There is a small, lovely, hotel-owned beach that could be enhanced with more thoughtful landscaping. The standout feature is the numerous friendly and accommodating hotel staff who consistently strive to understand and fulfill your wishes. Each staff member is commendable. Thank you. Personally, I might not return as the hotel didn't entirely meet my individual preferences, but I can still recommend it to others.

We stayed for five nights in the Ocean Front Pool Villa Suite (Villa 4) toward the end of January. This particular villa has arguably the best pool in the resort as the shape is unique and it’s massive. The interior has a distinct island feel with solid dark wood and high ceilings - it’s spacious with a great stone bathtub, and the bed is very comfortable. Really good quality throughout. We had afternoon tea, breakfast and multiple lunches at the pool - really epic. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal, and the staff are very polite and friendly. There are small touches - noticing we liked a particular biscuit, and so extra were provided - that felt very personalised, and showed attention is paid to guests. The spa honeymoon package was really, really good too. Disappointingly, there are parts of the resort which aren’t well thought through or maintained - visible undersides of other villas and pools, pile of plastic trash on the rocks in front of our villa, various utilities that are not shielded, and damaged wooden panels in walkways. The beach was perhaps the most disappointing as it is not maintained, and there is plastic litter and debris everywhere. The approach to turndown in terms of timing and how prioritisation is done could also use a rethink. At 27,000B / €700 a night, I feel quite conflicted on whether I’d recommend Silavadee to others or not (at the price point for our particular villa at least). The things mentioned are however easily remedied and I do hope Tristan and the team use this feedback to make the needed adjustments.

We've returned to this hotel twice in a year, and both times, we've had a fantastic experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and their behavior feels exceptionally personal. Having stayed in several hotels, Silavadee Resort truly stands out in every aspect. They consider every detail, providing super-friendly and highly personalized hospitality. You're truly pampered, and there's no 'no' in this hotel – everything can be arranged. The service is of an exceptional standard, surpassing many other hotels. The breakfast is very extensive, especially the additional items available for order from the menu, which are of unparalleled quality and taste! The various restaurants offer stunning views of the sea with a panoramic view of both sunset and sunrise. Once again, the staff is highly professional, personable, and skilled. Special thanks to Aonny, Manee (best Thai cuisine chef), chef Ramon, Ploy, all the front office/buggy staff, the general manager, and all the hotel staff! We'll definitely be back.

Precious and luxury. We spend all time in the hotel facilities. I have been visited Samut several times. But this place is represented Samut island. Excellent services, delicious meals. I addressed meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Recommend!

Silavadee proved to be an outstanding resort, characterized by its exceptional qualities. The swimming pool surpassed all expectations, offering breathtaking vistas of the vast ocean. Upon arrival, guests are kindly requested to download a user-friendly application, through which all their needs and desires can be efficiently conveyed to the esteemed staff. Speaking of the staff, their professionalism and warmth were truly commendable. A special mention must be made to Chom, whose impeccable organization skills ensured the success of our tours. If I were to nitpick, the only minor drawback I encountered pertained to the in-room dining service. It should be noted that the prices for food ordered through the restaurant for in-room dining can be significantly higher. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly endorse Silavadee and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience.

This is a Beautiful place for a very special get away. Tristan and his amazing staff are so attentive, it is a wonderful location, has stunning views, and brilliant food. The location, away from the busier parts of the island makes it special and ideal for a relaxed and peaceful holiday. I would highly recommend it.

After some research for our wedding, we finally decided on this hotel. We are very glad we did. We can't fault it. Our wedding planner Suken arranged everything by email. She made sure our day was as how we wanted it to be. I loved the floral set up and the spinning fire show was awesome. It was the perfect beach wedding that I've dreamed of. The hotel is set in a quiet location with direct access to private beach but no shops nearby. They do offer a free shuttle to Lamai and Chaweng. The service and staff were excellent. Everyone was so friendly. We particularly enjoyed the luxurious buffet breakfast. Our daughter gifted us a 4 hour Honeymoon spa package which was amazingly relaxing…blissful. My massage by Fai was the best l've ever had. I would recommend Silavadee to anyone looking for wedding venue. We look forward to returning for our anniversary.
