Excellent Italian Market with a variety of fine Italian goods, prepared foods, cheeses, olive oils, wines, pastries, sweets and a deli. There is seating inside to enjoy lunch or a quick bite. There is an upstairs where wine tastings are held. When I visited I tried a slice of their Rum Cake. It was very good and very boozy. It was a nice visit.

This review is for the restaurant upstairs, Alimentary. Nice happy hour with excellent value and quality. The atmosphere is clean, bright, casual and friendly. There were a surprising number of people sitting at a bistro table alone and working on their laptops, happily typing away with a drink and an app. Which I thought was great, and unique. I also prefer a well lit relaxed environment for first dates or co-worker time. We tried all the appetizers and each one was delicious and very large.

Everyone was polite when I walk, everyone was nice and helpful. Khalif was helpful and Sweet baby Ray talked me into getting getting the steak brisket pizza which was very delicious. Next time I visit Philadelphia I'm definitely coming back.

I stopped by on a whim one afternoon after the restaurant that I planned to visit was not yet open. I had never even heard of his restaurant, but apparently it’s a silly stable and I should’ve tried a long time ago. I sat at the bar and had a couple of cocktails which were refreshing. We ordered the truffle gnocchi, grilled cheese, and Caesar salad. All of the dishes were excellent. The gnocchi was tasty comforting and very filling. The grilled cheese with super cheesy and paired well with the tomato soup, although I wish the sandwich was a bit larger. The Caesar salad was hands-down my favorite. It tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. I could taste all of the flavor in the dressing. I sat on the side of the bar where it was hard for the bartender to see me due to a large (espresso?) machine blocking me from view, but the bartender checked in often. Such a great experience! I’ll definitely be back in the future. I saw a few fabulous looking charcuterie plates I’d like to try next time

I've visited Di Bruno Bros cheese shop twice in Philadelphia, and both visits were great! The shop offers a large selection of unique cheeses as well as other items which would typically pair well with cheese, such as deli meats, jams and fruit spreads, olives, and bread, etc! Overall the shop is well-stocked, and staff are friendly and provide great recommendations. My only word of advice for selecting a cheese item is to try to check the pre-packaged cheeses for any mold that is not intended as part of the cheese, or any short-labeled items close to expiry (ex: Parmesan Reggiano cheeses which shouldn't have mold, as there were a few pieces which had small amounts of mold on them which I threw out from the pre-packaged cubes I purchased) The items are also fairly priced. Street parking is usually difficult near the shop, however there is a parking lot directly across the shop if needed, though the rates are on the pricier side. Thanks!

Very small store but don't let that fool you as it is packed with Italian specialties. We ventured in as the Italian market we usual frequent was closed....

I went to the Wayne store today. I was shocked- the store has totally changed since Shop Rite bought it. Gone are the Isgro pastries that I loved. Gone are the delicious sandwiches you could have made- not many good salads either. The pastry window is now choc covered pretzels. Can you imagine? Cheeses are still there and the homemade small pizzas are good but that’s all I saw in the whole store. It used to be so special- no more. I cannot imagine people shopping here any longer. So very shocking and disappointing!

Save your money, go to a different specialty store for same type of products. They do not honor thier own gift cards, say the system is currently unable to process and have no alternative accept to come back later! They are currently holding $$$$$ of people's money in gift cards. What a scam.

Sorry to say but very rude a$....staff. I had app that allows me to pick up food cheaper. I showed the app and the guy said" I can read" lol. Why he's just working there not university puzzles me still 🙃 If you watched "Devil wears Prada" you will get the vibe there...only less funny less intelligent and less famous than people in the movie.

Not only DiBruno's, the whole street was really interesting. There are probably a dozen Italian Markets on this Block. Several Meat Stores and lots of Cheese and Produce. Prices are generally high but really good quality. If you are a foody you will enjoy a visit to this block.

I ordered four types of cheese for my dad on father's day plus two boxes of crackers, so that I when I got there I could set up a nice cheese platter without having to go to the store. So one cheese never shipped, and one box of crackers was completely smashed to bits. So now I have three small cheeses and only one box of crackers to make a larger cheese platter--not enough. So I had to go to the store and buy another chunk of cheese and more crackers. That totally defeated the purpose of ordering the stuff online. They did refund me my money for a) the cheese that never shipped and b) the box of crackers that arrived smashed to bits. However, they don't seem to have grasped the fact that my entire plan to avoid long lines at the grocery store and crappy selections of cheese and crackers was thrown off by this. FYI, I ordered the package 2.5 weeks before father's day, so there was plenty of time to ask me if I wanted a different kind of cheese for the one that was out of stock. I won't use them again.
