Beautiful views! Rooms are great with a small exception of hot water does t last so be ready to use a bucket they give you. Rooms also have a cleaning smell, maybe moth balls. Overall very nice and I’ll stay again!

It’s a beautiful property with unparalleled views! The staff is polite and courteous and food is delicious! So many common sitting places with breathtaking view of the mountains, river ganga and Rishikesh city. Complete value for money! It was a very peaceful and delightful stay.

" Food with the view " The resort is located above the Neer water falls (driving during night on this road might be risky).It has an awesome view of mountains, the Ganges river and the entire Rishikesh city. We enjoyed our food served in their restaurant (Altamas)with the beautiful sunset . We ordered crispy corn , hot and sour soup, chilly honey potato and they had a great taste . I would like to stay here so ll plan it soon .🙂

Great Stay with Breathtaking Views! I had an amazing experience at this hilltop property, especially considering the fantastic deal of ~4500 (January, including breakfast). Pros: 1. The property is vast and offers stunning sunrise, sunset, and city views, especially magical at night. 2. Beautifully lit at night, creating a serene and cozy ambiance. 3. Independent cottages with private outdoor seating areas offer a peaceful retreat. 4. Courteous and helpful staff who made our stay even better. 5. Delicious food with good quality and taste—options available for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. 6. The overall decor and design of the property are impressive. 7. Food pricing is reasonable (₹600-₹1000 for two people). 8. There’s a full-fledged spa offering a variety of Ayurvedic and other treatments, perfect for relaxation. Cons: 1. The road leading to the property is not in the best condition, so it’s best to avoid traveling in the dark. 2. The buffet spread is limited (lacking salads), but the à la carte menu compensates with its variety. 3. While the property offers activities like badminton, table tennis, foosball, and carrom, the equipment is not well-maintained. Overall, it’s a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway with stunning views, great hospitality, and plenty of amenities. Would definitely recommend it!

My first ever visit to ‘Rishikesh the Yog Nagri’ with my best friend and I dont think anything could have been better than staying at this beautiful resort- The Neer Ganga Resort. Its around 4-5kms from main city center. We booked it directly by calling to the resort after reading the nice reviews and having a look at all the pictures/images. And it was more beautiful than the pictures. My pointwise honest reviews are given here, these are very much my very own views and thoughts that I experienced here: 1. Booking: Called the reception numbers and they did hassle free bookings and also they have a guest login and portal where you can update your check-in time also if an early check-in is required but that needs to be done in advance and they should confirm it if that can be done or is done. 2. Reach: we had reached Haridwar by train early and from station itself we booked a cab which charged Rs. 1400/- (that is a two way price they told, whereas it was only drop) till the resort which was very reasonable, because the resort people said it will for Rs. 2500/- (too high price). This beautiful resort is located approx. 2km uphill of Neer waterfall, Rishikesh and so you will need a cab to reach the resort and if you a skilled driver in hilly area then better take your car. The stretch of around 3-4 kms to the resort is a bumpy narrow road and better if you can reach there during daylight. But once you reach the resort, you will not mind that bumpy narrow ride of yours. For return it was again the same price they told but we love to walk in nature and had only our backpacks so we just walked downhill till neer waterfall and then from their we got bikes who dropped us for 500 rs. till Tapovan. But in case you have luggage if you are staying longer and need cab then resort price is Rs. 2500/- for one way (drop or pick). 3. Rooms: They have separate hut shaped rooms from deluxe, premium and villas too. We had booked a deluxe room but as we had reached a bit early around 9am, to checkin time which is 1pm so we waited for a while but then they told us that a premium room is vacant and if we want by paying 1000 extra we can book that. We were there only for one day so we didnt mind and immediately opted for that. But if you are planning for many days then reach there as per the checkin timings. The room was very equipped with all amenities like wardrobe, small fridge, TV, blower, geyser and even all toiletries, only slippers (that too one pair for two people) were given when asked. 4. Food: we had included breakfast and dinner so the food was tasty, hygienic and well served. Even you can order any items in the menu whenever you want to int he room itself. The tea was very good, for coffee they should improve. 5. Service & resort staff: The housekeeping and cleaning staff looked like the local people and were very humble. The person at the reception could have been more better in public dealing also, because thats what he is supposed to be doing their at reception. Being his duty to inform the guests about what’s available and not available at the resort, but instead he talked in a bit ajeeb way even when asked to as if there is no responsibility of his, which was not a welcoming gesture for us atleast. Overall it was a wonderful experience at the resort and would to visit again and enjoy the peace and calmness it offers. There was a live music also from 4pm to 7pm and it was so beautiful sang by Prakash Jaiswal (you can check out prakashjaiswalmusic on Instagram). We just enjoyed the stay there and each and corner and area of the resort is very well thought of by the owner/designer. The view of Ganga flowing and mountain peaks with sunrise and sunset is just mesmerising. I highly recommend to please go and enjoy the stay at this destination in Rishikesh. Please note there are monkeys there but resort had the gulel people who were taking care to drive them away. So no worries, but be cautious to keep the door closed. And its a pet friendly resort because we saw two families who had their pet dogs with them. Thank you.
