Uptown International School

I was very impressed with the preparation for the National Day celebrations today at Uptown School. This is, without a doubt, the best I've seen in the last 10 years. The school appears to be much more organized than it has been in the past.

Beautiful school. I would give it 5 stars if the technology were a bit more advanced. For example, there are no interactive screens in the classrooms.

This School have become overcrowded and a pick-up/drop-off nightmare for parents and students; despite my repeated complaints and meeting with the Principal with regards to the Terrible Parking Situation; No Action or any Corrective Action has taken Place!! There are many solutions to improve the layout and traffic impact of the drive ways and the design of the Schools internal layouts, but no sincere actions has taken place! The only thing the School Cares about is Tuition and making more money, Tuition has increased this year with no improvement to the increasing problems and challenges of the pick-up and drop-off situation, the lack of attention and seriousness of the School Management has resulted in significant delays for dropping off and picking up students due to the old and outdated school designs not to mention the outdated school building amenities and facilities which the School owners are reluctant to invest in improving its own facilities!!

It was one of the best schools that I wanted to register my sons with. However, one of the worst teachers they have even. my son had an assessment that had been done within 15 minutes only. they don't want to accept him of his lateness in speech, and they closed the door in my face saying no need to come back as they have a very, very, very long listing to wait for admission. somehow, they are choosing children from they mood. alhamdullah, maybe it is good for me as well. the overall rating of the teachers in the school is not good, not supportive, and not acceptable.

My kids joined this school last year, and I personally think it was one of the best decisions made. The opportunities and pathways provided by the school to keep a student on the right track have reassured us that our children are getting high-quality education. Especially regarding the latest internship with Turner & Townsend and Design Engineer Construction, my child was given experience and an opportunity, which is the first school in the Middle East.
