Atomic data® customer reviews

My experience with Atomic Data has been excellent. The entire organization is organized, prepared, thoughtful and attentive. The best relationship I've had with an MSP. I would highly recommend you give them a try.

We selected Atomic Data to be our new Managed Service Provider after getting bids from Atomic and five other MSPs. Service delivery from Atomic has been excellent. Pros: 24 x 7 Network Operation Center (NOC) and Security Operation Center (SOC) Strong set of services - CrowdStrike for EDR, Kaseya for remote desktop support Staff - Atomic has excellent technicians. Every organization will have a few average techs. Atomic seems to have all A Team. Cons Atomic runs a business and they are not shy about charging for services or for monitoring that you request. All of the reference customers we spoke with had a similar experience. Great services, but aggressive pricing. Just be ready to review your invoices each month. If you have an disputes, Atomic is easy to work with to resolve them.

Atomic Data is perhaps the strongest MSP in the Minneapolis area. They have excellent engineers, well trained technicians, good project management, and fast response times. Their model is the ultimate in client choice: No long term commitment, and all services delivered a la carte. You pay for services you request. They offer a 24x7 NOC and a 24x7 SOC. We selected Atomic after considering five other local MSPs and one national MSP. We are delighted with our decision.

Atomic Data LLC has done a number of custom development projects for the Butler County Veterans Service Commission. They are transparent about billing rates and don't have hidden costs. It seems that in today's time, it's difficult for some companies to even get back with you in a timely manner. Not with Atomic Data. From a project manager, to sales or developers; you can count on timely and informative communication. If you are looking to develop or update a platform, look no further. This team will listen to your needs and walk you through the entire process, start to finish. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a strong, long term partnership to address your networking or development needs.

The colocation services seem fine but they charge whatever they want, whenever they want, with little notice. They add random services like DDoS protection and start charging $30/month for it, even though a tech told me that the services were configured incorrectly and their network was brought down by my own configuration changes. This month they casually raised colocation prices by TWENTY PERCENT with only a 30-day notice and no remediation besides a costly datacenter migration. This surprise price hike makes Atomic 100% more expensive for my application than other local options. Do not trust Atomic Data if you need stable pricing or want to feel valued as a customer. UPDATE - they have tried to work with me, possibly in the interest of saving face here, but continue to send random 'Time & Materials' invoices for $60-$200 every few months. Invoices appear with no work initiation on our part, no up-front notice, no approval process, and no description of the time and/or materials used. After multiple attempts to get clarification on the invoices, I learned that they covered a) blacklist issues for a previous user of the netblock and b) $60 for password recovery after they'd changed my password and have no automated means to reset it. It feels like theft. I will say it again: Do not trust Atomc Data if you need stable pricing or want to feel valued as a customer! And you can see for yourself, by way or reading their responses here, how they treat customers - by posting screeds on review boards instead of responding directly to pricing concerns. It is not "defamatory" to say that I have received invoices for work I did not request, with no documentation of what the work is for. It is a fact. It happened multiple times. Some of the work ultimately had nothing to do with my account. It is also a fact that I only received a description after updating my review, which was 24 days after I requested the information in writing. If Atomic could just be transparent and respectful with their pricing policies, their services would be fine. Instead, it's just needless drama.
